PAC Mexico is pleased to announce the start of a training partnership with Centro de Enseñanza Técnica Industrial,(CETI), the technical school in Guadalajara. Training using the FUJI NXT and Flexa will be conducted for 8th semester students of the Electronics, Automatic Controls and Mechatronics Technology and Engineering program at PAC Mexico’s Guadalajara training facility.

Fuji America president Mr. Nick Kimura, (center), and PAC Global president Mr. Eric Culbertson, (right), were welcomed by CETI facilities director Ing. Juan Antonio Gonzalez, (left).  The event formally established a partnership to provide training in Surface Mount Technology to students and professors at the engineering and technologist level.  The common objective is to provide students the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the SMT electronics industry in Mexico.

PAC Mexico offers CETI students training in Operation, Programming, Maintenance & Troubleshooting. This prepares students to quickly enter the industry and provides trained professionals ready to work on FUJIs state of the art NXT platform.

For more information about this and other training programs and services offered by PAC Mexico, please contact Ing. Everardo Jaime at EverardoJaime@PACMexico.com.mx, 33 1417 6167 cell or 33 3647 9994 office.

OmniMax Improves Reliability and Reduces Costs

As  high reliability PCB’s  become more complex and

process windows continue to decrease, manufacturers are looking for technologies that improve product reliability, reduce costs associated with rework or scrap, reduce operating costs, and still provide high levels of throughput from an in-line reflow oven. The Electrovert OmniMax is designed to address these issues and provide a cost-effective, reliable solution.

Electrovert’s development team worked diligently to ensure that consistent thermal capability and control were key design drivers in the OmniMax.  A dual IsoThermalchamber approach is used that produces ΔT’s less than +/- 2°C within 7 and 10 zone ovens, (air or nitrogen). The introduction of an industry-first patent pending dripless cooling feature in the OmniMax extends maintenance intervals in the cooling section.

Excellent separation between the heating and cooling zones and lower nitrogen consumption are additional benefits of the OmniMax.
